The Arbor Day Foundation (ADF) has sponsored the Tree City USA and claims Seminole, Florida as a tree city based on their s active tree management program.  Seminole regards their tree canopies as a source of pride and strive to continuously improve them so that future generations can enjoy.

Seminole City Center– A dynamic and unique retail development located in the heart of the city of Seminole. Seminole City Center opened in 2017 and is a premier shopping, dining and entertainment destination for all of Pinellas County.

Seminole Community Library at St. Petersburg College – A partnership between the City of Seminole and SPC- a public library and a college library in one integrated facility.  It’s a “Community Commons” where connections are made- between people and information and each other.  With print, media, and electronic resources, free Wi-Fi, public computers, programs and special events for all ages, reading and study spaces, the “Innovation Lab”, and more, the library is your community hub!

Save on Prescription Drug Costs! The City of Seminole offers savings on prescription drugs to residents who are without health insurance, a traditional benefits plan, or have prescriptions that are not covered by insurance. The City of Seminole Prescription Discount Card is made available to residents in collaboration with the National League of Cities (NLC) and is made possible through our city’s membership in NLC. The card is FREE to all City of Seminole residents, regardless of age, income or existing health insurance. By using this card you may save an average of 20% off the regular retail price of prescription drugs at participating pharmacies. Residents may pick up a card at the following locations:

Waterfront Park– In November of 2017, the City of Seminole hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of Phase I of Waterfront Park on Park Boulevard. The park, which is partially funded by state grants, will be completed in three phases. A ground turning for Phase I, which includes the kayak and canoe launch, a waterfront boardwalk, a new concrete entrance and minimal entrance signage, stormwater infrastructure, a shell/crushed concrete driveway and parking area, and a potable water wash down area. Later phases of the project will include the creation of Pinellas County’s only all-abilities playground.

Lake Seminole Park- A home to an abundance of wildlife and offers 3 shelters that are available for renting 365 days a year, a boat ramp, picnic facilities, a playground, water fountains and restrooms. The 2 mile long trail winds through the pine flatwoods where visitors can participate in walking, jogging, hiking, rollerblading and offers many benches and swings for rest and relaxation. There are multiple spots for picnics other than the pavilions and you’ll often see families with a picnic basket, blanket and food sitting on the lush green grass enjoying the serene views that only the Lake Seminole can offer.

Boca Ciega Millenium Park- Amenities include fishing access to the Bay, a large dog park, an observation tower, small nature trails, boardwalks, a launch site for canoes, a playground, picnic shelters  restrooms, and walking/jogging paths. Enjoy the shade and beauty of Boca Ciega’s habitat which include wetlands, pine flat-woods, oak hammocks, mangrove swamps, and salt marshes.

Seminole’s Blossom Lake Park- A neighborhood park located on the Pinellas Trail. Blossom Lake Park includes multiple small gazebos with charcoal grills, a fishing lake, two playground areas complete with play equipment for all ages, two horseshoe pits, basketball court, a 1/3 mile fitness trail with fitness stations, a multi-purpose ball field and access to the Pinellas Trail.

Seminole City Park-  Offering many activities for the family and includes three picnic shelters with charcoal grills, a band shell, three playground areas with equipment for all ages.
